Overtime Rest Period. An employee accepting overtime which is expected to exceed two (2) hours shall be given a fifteen (15) minute paid rest period within the first two (2) hours of overtime, and further breaks will be in accordance with Articles 4.13 and 4.14.

Overtime Rest Period. Employees who are required to work beyond their regular quitting time, shall be allowed a fifteen (15) minute rest period before the first hour of overtime worked has lapsed, providing that it can be reasonably foreseen that such overtime will exceed three (3) hours in duration, and providing that no operational emergency exists. This section does not apply to voluntary prearranged overtime Juvenile Group Workers will not be allowed to work more than sixteen (16) consecutive hours, nor more than sixteen (16) hours out of a twenty-four (24) hour period. If a Juvenile Group Worker works at least twelve (12) consecutive hours they are prohibited from accepting overtime that will not afford them at least an eight (8) hour off-duty, unpaid break prior to their next regularly scheduled shift.
Overtime Rest Period. An employee who has worked emergency overtime shall return to work after eight (8) hours rest. If the eight (8) hour rest period runs into the employees next shift, he/she shall be paid straight time rates from the start of the shift but shall not commence work until the eight (8) hour rest period is complete.
Overtime Rest Period. If an employee is required to work two (2) hours or more overtime, he or she will be given a fifteen (15) minute paid rest period. This provision applies to overtime in excess of an eight (8) hour day. It is understood that all overtime of less than four (4) hours shall be continuous with the end of the shift. It is understood that employees in the Service Centre who are paid a flat rate per unit are not eligible for overtime pay. All overtime to be offered by Seniority, provided the employee has the ability to perform the work without additional training required. An employee may decline overtime if they have a valid reason. Where there are no volunteers with the ability to do the work, reverse seniority will apply, and the most junior employee able to perform the work will be required to work the overtime.
Overtime Rest Period. Where feasible, employees who work beyond their regular shift shall receive a thirty- (30) minute rest period, without pay, before being required to commence work on the next shift. In addition, they shall receive the regular paid rest periods during said overtime.
Overtime Rest Period. An employee who is required to remain at work following the end of his normal work day shall be entitled to a paid fifteen (15) minute rest period after he has completed two (2) hours overtime work, provided such overtime is to extend for a period of time in excess of the two (2) hours.
Overtime Rest Period. The employer shall provide a rest period of fifteen (15) minutes each for every three (3) hours of overtime worked. The assigned break times shall be subject to operational requirements.
Overtime Rest Period. Lunch If an employee is required to work more than one (1) hour but not more than two (2) hours overtime, he or she will be given a fifteen (15) minute paid rest period. If an employee is required to work more than two (2) hours overtime, he or she will be given the same fifteen 5) minute paid rest period mentioned in the above paragraph and in addition receive a five dollar ($5.00) meal allowance. This provision applies to in excess of an eight (8) hour day. It is understood that all overtime of less than four (4) hours shall be continuous with the end of the shift, with the exception of a meal period where one is given as defined above. all work performed on Sunday shall be paid at straight time rates plus a premium of one dollar sixty cents ($1.60) per hour (eighty cents for each half hour worked), except that Service Clerks shall receive a premium of one dollar ($1 per hour cents half hour). For purposes of the Collective Agreement, Sunday is considered the first (1 day of the basic workweek and in the event an employee worked in excess of the basic workweek, as set out in Subsection (a), the last such day or days worked in such weeks shall be considered as the day or days for which overtime applies.
Overtime Rest Period. An employee who has worked for sixteen (16) or more continuous hours shall, upon release, be entitled to an eight (8) hour rest period before returning to work. If the rest period extends into the regularly-scheduled work day, the employee shall lose no time thereby, provided that he or she returns to work at the end of the eight (8) hour rest period. For the purpose of administering the overtime period and rest period, the work period shall be considered continuous unless interrupted by a continuous eight (8) hour period.
