Common use of Seasonal Employee Clause in Contracts

Seasonal Employee. A seasonal employee shall be defined as those persons hired for work caused by seasonal change. The City may retain seasonal employees for up to seven (7) months, unless the parties agree, in writing, to extend such periods of employment. Generally, the term of seasonal employment shall be from April 1st through November 1st. Seasonal employees are not to be used to fill Bargaining Unit positions. The City will make available, upon request, an up-to-date list of all seasonal employees. Seasonal employees are not subject to this Agreement, except as expressly provided herein.
