Common use of Seasonal Nurse Clause in Contracts

Seasonal Nurse. A nurse who works for a specific length of time during the 25 year. This can be up to twelve (12) continuous weeks per twelve (12) month 26 rolling calendar. It can be extended for up to four (4) weeks with joint approval.

All seasonal positions will be posted, and nurses will be selected according to applicable contract language. Seasonal nurses have an obligation to schedule to work available shifts as determined by the Hospital. Seasonal positions are offered at the sole discretion of the employer, and if a seasonal position is no longer needed in the Department the position will be ended.
