Common use of Second-Shift Premium Clause in Contracts

Second-Shift Premium. An employee assigned to work on a shift beginning 27 between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 8:59 p.m. will be paid a shift premium of ten (10) percent of the 28 employee’s base hourly rate of pay.
