Secondments. 11.12.1 An employee shall be granted part or full-time release for secondment, for a period not exceeding one (1) year, with the possibility of an extension for a further period not to exceed one (1) year. This release shall be subject to the reasonable and bona fide curriculum and scheduling requirements of the Employer. 11.12.2 An employee granted the release shall continue to receive full salary and benefits from the Employer. 11.12.3 The College shall arrange for reimbursement of the full cost of salary and benefits. 11.12.4 The employee shall continue to accrue seniority equal to the seniority that would have accrued had the secondment not occurred.
