Section 14.2.5. 39 Step Five (5): If no satisfactory settlement is reached at the Board of Directors level, and the Union 40 believes the grievance to be valid, the grievance may be submitted for arbitration according to the 41 expedited rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Submission of the grievance for 42 arbitration shall be made within fifteen (15) workdays following receipt of the Board’s decision. The 43 District and the Union shall mutually select an arbitrator from a list provided by the AAA. Each 44 party shall bear its own costs of arbitration, except that the fees and charges of the arbitrator, if any, 45 shall be shared equally by the parties.
