Section 16.11 Fringe Benefits While on Leave. 3 Certificated employees on non-compensated leave may, at said employee's option, be continued in any 4 fringe benefit programs of the District, provided said certificated employee reimburses the cost of the 5 programs to the District in advance by the first of each month. Certificated employees on compensated 6 leave shall receive all fringe benefits for which they are eligible. 8 While on an approved leave, an employee will retain accrued sick leave, personal leave and seniority rights.

However, Illness, Injury and Emergency Leave, Discretionary 50 Leave and seniority shall not accrue while the employee is on a leave of absence.

  • Benefits While on Leave An employee will continue to receive her/his salary and benefits while on paid leave under this Article. An employee on unpaid leave may arrange to pay the costs required to maintain benefit coverage in accordance with the local provisions of the collective agreement.

  • Rights While on Leave A bargaining unit member approved for a professional conference shall receive full salary while in attendance at said conference. In addition, an estimate of cost of reimbursement will be submitted with the request.

  • Salary and Fringe Benefits The employee shall be paid a salary which is the pro- rata share of the salary which the employee would have earned had he or she not elected to exercise the option of reduced workload.
