Section 24.5. Voluntary Separation. ‌‌ 2 Upon voluntary separation of any employee from the service of the Employer other than 3 by leave of absence or retirement, the employee shall be paid, at the time of separation, for the 4 unused vacation balance, provided the employee shall have given two (2) weeks prior notice of 5 the separation. Refer to Section 30.6. Health Care Savings Program for vacation leave payout 6 options. To receive payment for any unused vacation balance at retirement, the notification 7 standards set forth in Section 30.3. must be satisfied.
