Section 4.5.2. 41 The PSE/SJ will designate a yearly Conference Committee of three (3) members and two (2) 42 alternates who will meet with the District or its designee pursuant to Section 4.5.1 above.

Section 4.5.2. 22 Any bargaining unit member who holds a PSE State Board and/or Zone position in the 23 Association shall be permitted to utilize leave to perform state functions so long as appropriate 24 advance notice is provided to the Superintendent/designee and PSE State Association 25 reimburses the District at the employee rate for time utilized in a fiscal year.
Section 4.5.2. 28 Any bargaining unit member who holds a state position in the Association shall be permitted to 29 utilize leave with pay to perform state functions so long as appropriate advance notice is 30 provided to the Supervisor and Superintendent/Designee. The District will be reimbursed the 31 bargaining member’s salary by the PSE State Office for time missed by any member who holds 32 a PSE State Office position to attend state functions.
Section 4.5.2. 40 The Association shall hold the District harmless and defend it from loss if litigation is initiated 41 contending that the partial compensation granted pursuant to Section 4.5 herein constitutes an 42 unfair labor practice of a gift of public funds; provided, however, that the District shall not be the 43 initiator or willing participant in said claim. 44
Section 4.5.2. 39 The Association information, bulletins, etc., posted by the Association are the responsibility 40 of the officials of the Association. Each bulletin shall be signed by the Association official 41 responsible for this posting. Unsigned notices or bulletins may not be posted. No materials 42 posted will violate the Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) rules and regulations.
Section 4.5.2. 18 No employee shall be disciplined without just cause.

Related to Section 4.5.2

  • Section 4.5 28 The President of the Association and designated representatives will be provided time off without loss of 29 pay to a maximum of five (5) days per year to attend regional or State meetings when the purpose of those 30 meetings is in the mutual interests of the District and Association.

  • Section 6.3 27 The workweek shall consist of five (5) consecutive days, Monday through Friday, followed by two (2) 28 consecutive days of rest, Saturday and Sunday except as provided in Section 6.3.1.

  • Section 5.1 6 It is agreed and understood that matters appropriate for consultation and negotiation between the 7 District and the Association are those relating to or affecting hours, wages, grievance procedures and 8 general working conditions of employees in the bargaining unit subject to this agreement.

  • Section 5.3 40 It is further recognized that this Agreement does not alter the responsibility of either party to meet with 41 the other party to advise, discuss or consult regarding matters concerning working conditions not 42 covered by this Agreement. 43

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and investigate to 15 conclusion complaints or grievances of employees on District time and thereafter advise employees of 16 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 17 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 18 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. This does not, however, 19 preclude the Association's right to pursue the matter to conclusion. They may consult with the District 20 on complaints without a grievance being made by an individual employee.

  • Section 4.3 30 The Association reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained herein to 31 appropriate officials of the Public School Employees of Washington State Organization. 32

  • Section 5.2 29 It is further recognized that this Agreement does not alter the responsibility of either party to meet with the 30 other party to advise, discuss or consult regarding matters concerning working conditions not covered by 31 this Agreement. 35 A R T I C L E V I 36 37 ASSOCIATION REPRESENTATION 38

  • Section 4.4 44 The Association reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained herein, within the 45 scope of statute, to appropriate officials of the Public School Employees of Washington/SEIU Local 46 1948 State Organization.

  • Section 4.6 30 The responsibility for the prompt removal of notices from the bulletin boards after they have served their 31 purpose shall rest with the individual who posted such notices.
