Section 4.5.1. Members of the authorized Association bargaining committee shall be compensated at their 23 regular rate of pay by the Association for all hours of work missed due to negotiations. It is 24 agreed that bargaining members shall be released from work for negotiations provided that 25 twenty-four (24) hours notice is provided to the immediate supervisor.
Section 4.5.1. 6 Any bargaining unit member who holds a State position in the Association shall be permitted 7 five (5) additional days of leave without pay to perform State functions, so long as appropriate 8 advance notice is provided to the immediate supervisor and the Superintendent.
Section 4.5.1. 42 The responsibility for the prompt removal of notices from the bulletin boards after they have 43 served their purpose shall rest with the individual who posted such notices.
Section 4.5.1. In addition to section 4.5 and upon written request of the Association at least three (3) days in 14 advance of the leave if possible, the District shall grant employees who hold a state office, a 15 leave of absence to conduct State Association business. Such leaves shall be limited to fifteen 16 (15) days per year and shall be reimbursed by the State PSE for actual salary, wages and
Section 4.5.1. 20 The District agrees to post this agreement on the KSD website and StaffLink within twenty (20) 21 days from the date the agreement is published.
Section 4.5.1. Request for leave specified in Section 4.5 herein shall be submitted to the Superintendent two 44 (2) days before the leave is to take effect. 45
Section 4.5.1. Employees elected to a State Board position with the Association shall be entitled to additional 44 leave, provided that the Association compensates the District for the employee’s salary and 45 benefits, and providing that the employee’s absence will not have a significantly negative impact 46 on the operation of the District. Such leave shall be comparable with those in place for other 47 Board members and their school districts.
Section 4.5.1. 14 This section shall serve as a protection for the employee against unwarranted discipline by the 15 District.
Section 4.5.1. 16 The president of the Association shall be provided with up to five (5) days off with pay 17 annually for the conducting of Association business. Association business as defined in this 18 section refers to grievance meetings, investigatory meetings, and disciplinary meetings. Such 19 time may be taken in half-day increments. The Association shall pay the cost of a substitute 20 when a substitute is required.
