Security of Passwords. Customer is solely responsible for all activities that occur in Customer’s or its User’s account(s) and for the security of any Customer and User passwords. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY HEREIN, STARTEX HAS NO LIABILITY OF ANY KIND (WHETHER BY CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE) FOR ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO CUSTOMER’S OR ITS USERS’ ACCOUNT TO THE EXTENT SUCH UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS IS DUE TO CUSTOMER OR ITS USERS ACTIONS OR INACTIONS.

Security of Passwords. The Subscriber shall be responsible for protection of passwords or codes assigned to the Subscriber and for the adequacy of formulation and transmission to the computer of messages choosing ULCVS databases or other services and for the Subscriber’s search or other service requests.
Security of Passwords. Customer acknowledges and agrees that it shall be solely responsible for (i) selecting Authorized Users, (ii) assigning the various levels of authority and access each Authorized User may have to the CareMC Application, Online Services and Customer Data, including by determining which Authorized Users shall be Non-Restricted Users, (iii) ensuring that only Authorized Users have access to the passwords provided by CorVel or changed by Authorized Users, (iv) implementing a system to control, track and account for all passwords, (v) strictly maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of all passwords and levels of authority among Authorized Users, and (vi) ensuring that Authorized Users shall at all times comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Customer further agrees that it shall notify CorVel immediately in writing if the security or integrity of a password has been compromised. CorVel will provide reasonable cooperation to Customer in the event of a security breach. Such support will include but not be limited to suspending service for passwords whose security or integrity has been violated. Passwords may be changed at any time by Authorized Users, and must be changed at least once every ninety (90) days.
Security of Passwords. 11.1 The Customer will, and will procure that each Authorised User will:- (a) keep the Password secure for his/her use of the Services and Documentation and not to give, disclose or make available the Password to any other person; (b) use the Password for purposes of the Services (on the Customer’s behalf) in accordance with this Agreement; 11.2 If for any reason any Password is no longer secure or may be accessible to, or in the possession of any person other than an Authorised User, immediately notify the Customer’s Administrator thereof. Where necessary, the Administrator will be responsible to reset the password for the Authorised User as soon as reasonably possible and where not possible, to notify REDi immediately in writing and request XXXx to assist. 11.3 REDi shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Customer, Customer Group Members or Customer or any other third party attributable to an Authorised User’s failure to maintain the confidentiality of his/her Password or any other credentials relevant for purposes of the Services. 11.4 To ensure the security and reliable operation of the Services for all Authorised Users, XXXx is entitled but not obliged to take whatever action REDi considers reasonably necessary to preserve the security and reliability of the Services from time to time.

Your Password should not be disclosed to third parties or recorded. You are responsible for safekeeping your Password. You may change your Password at any time by logging into the Online Banking system. If you disclose your Password to another person, whether it is intentional, accidental, or negligent action, you are responsible for any such action. If you fail to maintain the security of the Password and the Credit Union suffers a loss, we may terminate your Online Banking Service and account services immediately. You waive all present and future claims against the Credit Union and release the Credit Union from all responsibility for loss or damage not caused by the Credit Union’s negligence which you might incur through unauthorized transactions of any kind from your account(s) through the custody or use of your Account numbers and/or Password.

You waive all present and future claims against the Alamosa State Bank and release the Alamosa State Bank from all responsibility for loss or damage not caused by the Alamosa State Bank’s negligence which you might incur through unauthorized transactions of any kind from your account(s) through the custody or use of your Member Number and/or Password.
Security of Passwords. You agree that you are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Password. You agree to immediately notify us if your Password is lost, stolen, disclosed to an unauthorized third party or otherwise may have been compromised. You agree to immediately notify us of any other breach of security in relation to the Internet Banking that comes to be known to you. You agree that you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur using your Password whether or not you are the individual who undertakes such activities. You should change your Password regularly and make sure that you do not choose a Password you have used before. We reserve the right to change or discontinue the contents and services made available on the Internet Banking at any time.

Security of Passwords. The Customer will (a) be responsible for ensuring that Authorised Users protect the security of Usernames and passwords, or any other codes associated to the Service known to them, and for the accuracy and adequacy of personal information provided to the Service and will (b) ensure that Authorised Users change their passwords no less frequently than quarterly, and will (c) implement policies and procedures to prevent unauthorised use of Usernames, and will promptly notify T-Pro, upon suspicion that a Username has been lost, stolen, compromised, or misused.

  • Identification and Disclosure of Privacy and Security Offices Business Associate and Subcontractors shall provide, within ten (10) days of the execution of this agreement, written notice to the Covered Entity’s contract/grant manager the names and contact information of both the HIPAA Privacy Officer and HIPAA Security Officer. This information must be updated any time either of these contacts changes.

  • Security of processing (a) The data importer and, during transmission, also the data exporter shall implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of the data, including protection against a breach of security leading to accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access to that data (hereinafter ‘personal data breach’). In assessing the appropriate level of security, the Parties shall take due account of the state of the art, the costs of implementation, the nature, scope, context and purpose(s) of processing and the risks involved in the processing for the data subjects. The Parties shall in particular consider having recourse to encryption or pseudonymisation, including during transmission, where the purpose of processing can be fulfilled in that manner. In case of pseudonymisation, the additional information for attributing the personal data to a specific data subject shall, where possible, remain under the exclusive control of the data exporter. In complying with its obligations under this paragraph, the data importer shall at least implement the technical and organisational measures specified in Annex II. The data importer shall carry out regular checks to ensure that these measures continue to provide an appropriate level of security. (b) The data importer shall grant access to the personal data to members of its personnel only to the extent strictly necessary for the implementation, management and monitoring of the contract. It shall ensure that persons authorised to process the personal data have committed themselves to confidentiality or are under an appropriate statutory obligation of confidentiality. (c) In the event of a personal data breach concerning personal data processed by the data importer under these Clauses, the data importer shall take appropriate measures to address the breach, including measures to mitigate its adverse effects. The data importer shall also notify the data exporter without undue delay after having become aware of the breach. Such notification shall contain the details of a contact point where more information can be obtained, a description of the nature of the breach (including, where possible, categories and approximate number of data subjects and personal data records concerned), its likely consequences and the measures taken or proposed to address the breach including, where appropriate, measures to mitigate its possible adverse effects. Where, and in so far as, it is not possible to provide all information at the same time, the initial notification shall contain the information then available and further information shall, as it becomes available, subsequently be provided without undue delay. (d) The data importer shall cooperate with and assist the data exporter to enable the data exporter to comply with its obligations under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, in particular to notify the competent supervisory authority and the affected data subjects, taking into account the nature of processing and the information available to the data importer.

  • Security of Vendor Facilities All Vendor and Vendor Staff facilities in which Citizens Confidential Information is located or housed shall be maintained in a reasonably secure manner. Within such facilities, all printed materials containing Citizens Confidential Information should be kept locked in a secure office, file cabinet, or desk (except when materials are being used).

  • Passwords Passwords are an important aspect of computer security. A poorly chosen password may result in unauthorized access and/or exploitation of Placer County’s resources. All users, including contractors and vendors with access to the County’s systems, are responsible for the creation and protection of passwords and additionally any updates to County Password policies must be followed. Users must not use the same password for Placer County accounts and personal accounts. The reliability of passwords for maintaining confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Always assume that someone, in addition to the intended or designated recipient, may read any and all messages and files. Any user suspecting that his/her password may have been compromised must, without delay, report the incident to Placer County IT. 10.2.4.1 Passwords must never be shared or disclosed. If a password is accidentally exposed or suspected of exposure, the password should be changed immediately. 10.2.4.2 All passwords must be changed on a specified, periodic basis. 10.2.4.3 Default passwords provided by the vendor for access to applications/systems on the network must be changed to unique and secret passwords. 10.2.4.4 Immediately inform the Information Technology Service Desk when user accounts are no longer required or will not be used for a period of 30 days or more. 10.2.4.5 All accounts not used for 90 days will be automatically disabled.
