Common use of Self-Recognized Substance Abuse Clause in Contracts

Self-Recognized Substance Abuse. Employees with a substance abuse problem must immediately notify their supervisor of their condition. For evaluation purposes, a substance abuse test may be appropriate. If, in the opinion of a qualified drug alcohol counselor, the employee requires rehabilitation services, the employee will have an option to enroll in a rehabilitation program and be subjected to the guidelines as outlined in Section 6.1.
