Seniority, Employee Benefits and Break in Service. An employee on leave will not lose any seniority or employment benefit that accrued prior to the start of the leave. An employee on unpaid Family Care Leave (not paid leave such as vacation or sick leave) will not accrue additional benefits, such as vacation, sick leave or similar benefits, during the leave. The leave will not constitute a break in service for purposes of longevity and seniority.
