Common use of Seniority Interruption Clause in Contracts

Seniority Interruption. An employee’s City and Classification seniority shall be tolled, e.g. frozen and not subject to accrual, during each full payroll period during which an employee is on unpaid status. Exceptions to this provision are Budgetary leave, Military leave, Worker’s Compensation leave or a family medical leave under the Family Medical Leave Act.

Exceptions to this provision are Budgetary leave, Military leave, Worker’s Compensation leave or a family medical leave under the Family Medical Leave Act.
