SENIORITY, LAYOFF AND RECALL. Section 1 Seniority Defined Seniority shall be defined as follows: A. State Seniority. State Seniority shall be the employee’s length of continuous service for the Employer or its designees from the most recent date of employment, or re- employment and is primarily used for the purpose of benefit calculation. State Seniority for employees transferring directly to State employment under Minn. Stat. § 480.181 shall be calculated from the employee’s date of hire verified by the County Auditor for the county from which the employee is transferring.
