  • CALIFORNIA FAIR EMPLOYMENT AND HOUSING ACT CERTIFICATION Pursuant to Public Contract Code (PCC) section 2010, the following certifications must be provided when (i) submitting a bid or proposal to the JBE for a solicitation of goods or services of $100,000 or more, or (ii) entering into or renewing a contract with the JBE for the purchase of goods or services of $100,000 or more. CERTIFICATIONS:

  • AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) COMPLIANCE No Contractor, or Contractor’s agent, shall engage in any discriminatory practice against individuals with disabilities as defined in the ADA, including but not limited to: employment, accessibility to goods and services, reasonable accommodations, and effective communications.

  • Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance a. When the Project scope includes work on sidewalks, curb ramps, or pedestrian- activated signals or triggers an obligation to address curb ramps or pedestrian signals, the Parties shall:

  • Child Coverage Limited to Coverage Under One Employee If both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State’s Group Insurance Program, either spouse, but not both, may cover the eligible dependent children or grandchildren.   • Medical Care Leave An Employee who is unable to make the necessary arrangements for maintenance of personal health care outside of scheduled work time, shall be granted time off with pay. Such time off shall not exceed sixteen (16) working hours per calendar year. Hours in excess of sixteen (16) hours per calendar year shall be deducted from the Employee's sick leave accumulation.

  • Fair Employment Practices and Americans with Disabilities Act Party agrees to comply with the requirement of Title 21V.S.A. Chapter 5, Subchapter 6, relating to fair employment practices, to the full extent applicable. Party shall also ensure, to the full extent required by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, that qualified individuals with disabilities receive equitable access to the services, programs, and activities provided by the Party under this Agreement. Party further agrees to include this provision in all subcontracts.

  • Proof of Compliance with Disability Benefits Coverage Requirements In order to provide proof of compliance with the requirements of the Workers’ Compensation Law pertaining to disability benefits, a contractor shall:

  • Health Leave Any regular employee of the District may, at the discretion of the Board, be granted a leave of absence without pay for reasons of health, such leave to be specified for a period of not more than one year. Such leave may be extended in case of serious health conditions.

  • WORKPLACE SAFETY AND INSURANCE BENEFITS 25.01 An employee who sustains an injury or disease arising out of and in the course of his/her duties is covered by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997, S.O. 1997, as amended.

  • HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK The Supplier shall undertake its obligations arising hereunder and in all Contracts in accordance with the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System or equivalent. Both parties shall take all necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of the other party’s employees and agents visiting their premises. The Supplier shall notify the Authority of any use of substances listed under COSHH regulations or the Montreal Protocol in the provision of the Services.
