Settlement of Grievances. All grievances shall be settled in accordance with the Grievance Procedure set forth below: Step 1. Any employee having a grievance shall first take up the matter with his immediate supervisor. If the grievance is not settled during the work day it is discussed at Step 1, it shall be reduced to writing and signed by the grievant within ten (10) work days after discussion with the supervisor.
