Common use of Shift Premium Entitlement Clause in Contracts

Shift Premium Entitlement. Employees working an afternoon or night shift as identified in Clauses 15.1(a)(2) and 15.1(a)(3) shall receive a shift premium for all hours worked on the shift.

Shift Premium Entitlement. (a) Employees working an afternoon or night shift as identified in Clauses Article 15.1(a)(2) and 15.1(a)(3) shall receive a shift premium for all hours worked on the shift. (b) Shift premiums will apply to overtime hours worked in conjunction with a shift. An employee who is called out between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. shall receive the night shift premium for each hour worked during the callout period up to the commencement of his/her regularly scheduled shift.
