Shift Work and Shift Premiums. The Employer shall be permitted to institute alternative shift schedules as it deems necessary. Notwithstanding Article 8.01, where shift work is required a shift premium of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour shall be paid for any shift that starts prior to 5 a.m. or later than 9:59 a.m.
