Common use of Shift Worker Clause in Contracts

Shift Worker. A shift worker is an employee working on a job which is operated twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week and who rotates regularly as to the hours of the day and the days of the week. Job titles of shift workers are as identified in the Index of Job titles attached hereto.

Shift Worker. A shift worker is an employee working Employee: (a) who works a roster and who, over the roster cycle, may be rostered to work ordinary shifts on a job which is operated twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week and who rotates regularly as to the hours any of the day and the seven days of the week. An employee whose ordinary hours of work are rostered within a continuous 3 shift roster which is operated twenty-four (24) covers 24 hours per day, seven (7) 7 days per week and who rotates regularly as to the hours of the day and the days of the week. Job titles of shift workers are as identified in the Index of Job titles attached hereto, 52 weeks per year.

Shift Worker. A An employee who works a 9.5 hour shift worker is an employee working per day during the ordinary hours as described in clause 6.1.3 on a job which is operated twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week rotating roster to cover weekend and who rotates regularly as to the hours of the day and the days of the week.
