Short-Term Military Leave. Section 1. Each unit member who either is or who hereafter becomes a member of the Ohio National Guard, the Ohio Defense Corps, the Ohio Naval Militia, or a reserve component of the Armed Forces of the United States and who is ordered to active service for purposes of training or duty in an emergency shall be granted a leave of absence not to exceed thirty-one (31) workdays in any one (1) calendar year.
