Short-Term Military Leave. A regular employee whose District service and recent military service total one (1) full year may be granted a short-term leave for a period of ordered duty providing it does not exceed one hundred eighty (180) calendar days (including time involved in going to and returning from such duty) in one (1) fiscal year.
