Common use of Short-Term Military Leave Clause in Contracts

Short-Term Military Leave. When a Bargaining Unit member must fulfill temporary military duty with a Reserve component of the Armed Forces, and this occurs during a contract period, the Administration will grant leave to the individual for this purpose. All benefits, including pay, will be continued subject to provisions of the insurance policies and restrictions of law, if any. Such leave will not exceed thirty-one (31) days.
