Common use of Sick Leave and Gratuity Plan Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave and Gratuity Plan. (a) (i) After three (3) completed calendar months continuous service, Probationary and Permanent Employees shall be granted Sick Leave with pay on the basis of one and a half (1 1/2) days per month (maximum 18 working days per calendar year), cumulative to a maximum of 250 working days, retroactive to the first calendar month of employment. (Existing banked sick time grandfathered.)

Thereafter, accumulation will be on the basis of one and a half (1 1/2) days per month (maximum 18 working days per calendar year), cumulative to a maximum of 250 working days, retroactive to the first calendar month of employment. (Existing banked sick time grandfathered.)
