Workers' Compensation and Sick Leave Payments. (a) Where an employee suffers from a disease or illness or incurs personal injury (which disease, illness or injury is hereinafter called the "disability") and is entitled to time loss compensation therefor under the Workers' Compensation Act, the employee shall not be entitled to use sick leave credits for time lost by reason of any such disability.

Workers' Compensation and Sick Leave Payments. (a) (i) Where a Member suffers from a disease, illness, or incurs personal injury and the Member receives compensation therefor under the Workers' Compensation Act, the Board shall receive the compensation cheques and the Member's full net salary (as opposed to regular gross salary) shall be maintained by the Board for the period covered by Workers' Compensation Board benefits. It is understood by both parties that the Member in receipt of WCB benefits will receive an amount not less or greater than the Member's normal net salary when that Member is not receiving WCB benefits.
