Nurses with sufficient sick leave credits shall be allowed paid leave of absence of up to a total of forty (40) hours per annum (pro-rated for Part-Time Nurses based on regular hours paid) debited against sick leave credits in order to: (a) engage in and facilitate the Nurse’s personal preventative medical or dental care. Nurses shall advise their immediate supervisor when they become aware of their need for personal medical, dental care for a shift the Nurse is scheduled to work.
