Common use of Sickness on Day Off Clause in Contracts

Sickness on Day Off. An employee who is sick or injured on the Rostered Day Off (R.D.O) or on a day on which the employee is not rostered for duty, will not be entitled to sick pay nor will personal (sick) leave entitlement be reduced as a result of the employee’s sickness or injury that day.
