Common use of SIGN LANGUAGE PREMIUM Clause in Contracts

SIGN LANGUAGE PREMIUM. ‌ Any qualified employee who is covered by the provisions of this MOU and is requested by the Personnel Director to utilize sign language shall receive a sign language premium of 2.75% of the employee’s salary for each business day the skill is used. Such practices of additional compensation shall be in accordance with Section 4.84.1 of the LAAC. This compensation is non-pensionable.
