Sites of Religious Significance. 1. The Parties shall establish special arrangements to guarantee access to agreed sites of religious significance, as will be detailed in Annex X. These arrangements will apply, inter alia, to the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem, and Xxxx Xxxxxx.

Sites of Religious Significance. The Parties shall establish special arrangements to guarantee access to agreed .1 sites of religious significance, as will be detailed in Annex X. These arrangements will apply, inter alia, to the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Xxxxxx’s Tomb .in Bethlehem, and Xxxx Xxxxxx Access to and from the sites will be by way of designated shuttle facilities .2 .from the relevant border crossing to the sites The Parties shall agree on requirements and procedures for granting licenses to .3 .authorized private shuttle operators .The shuttles and passengers will be subject to MF inspection .4 The shuttles will be escorted on their route between the border crossing and .5 .the sites by the MF The shuttles shall be under the traffic regulations and jurisdiction of the Party .6 .in whose territory they are traveling Arrangements for access to the sites on special days and holidays are detailed .7 .in Annex X .The Palestinian Tourist Police and the MF will be present at these sites .8 The Parties shall establish a joint body for the religious administration of these .9 .sites In the event of any incidents involving Israeli citizens and requiring criminal .10 or legal proceedings, there will be full cooperation between the Israeli and Palestinian authorities according to arrangements to be agreed upon. The Parties .may call on the IVG to assist in this respect Israelis shall not use the shuttles as a means of entering Palestine without the .11 .relevant documentation and authorization The Parties shall protect and preserve the sites of religious significance listed .12 .in Annex X and shall facilitate visitation to the cemeteries listed in Annex X Article 11Border Regime There shall be a border regime between the two states, with movement .1 between them subject to the domestic legal requirements of each and to the .provisions of this Agreement as detailed in Annex X 2. Movement across the border shall only be through designated border .2 .crossings Procedures in border crossings shall be designed to facilitate strong trade and .3 .economic ties, including labor movement between the Parties Each Party shall each, in its respective territory, take the measures it deems .4 necessary to ensure that no persons, vehicles, or goods enter the territory of the .other illegally Special border arrangements in Jerusalem shall be in accordance with Article 6 .5 .above

  • Religious Activities The Subrecipient agrees that funds provided under this Agreement will not be utilized for inherently religious activities prohibited by 24 CFR 570.200(j), such as worship, religious instruction, or proselytization.

  • Legal Significance Patient acknowledges that this Agreement is a legal document and creates certain rights and responsibilities. Patient also acknowledges having had a reasonable time to seek legal advice regarding the Agreement and has either chosen not to do so or has done so and is satisfied with the terms and conditions of the Agreement.

  • Religious Exclusions Deductions for membership dues and assessments shall not apply to any employee who, for religious reasons, cannot pay union dues and assessments, provided she makes a contribution equal to said union dues and assessments to some recognized charitable cause.

  • Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults The Supplier will comply with all applicable legislation and codes of practice, including, where applicable, all legislation and statutory guidance relevant to the safeguarding and protection of children and vulnerable adults and with the British Council’s Child Protection Policy, as notified to the Supplier and amended from time to time, which the Supplier acknowledges may include submitting to a check by the UK Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) or the equivalent local service; in addition, the Supplier will ensure that, where it engages any other party to supply any of the Services under this Agreement, that that party will also comply with the same requirements as if they were a party to this Agreement.

  • Inherently Religious Activities Grantee may not use grant funding to engage in inherently religious activities, such as proselytizing, scripture study, or worship. Grantees may engage in inherently religious activities; however, these activities must be separate in time or location from the grant- funded program. Moreover, grantees must not compel program beneficiaries to participate in inherently religious activities. These requirements apply to all grantees, not just faith-based organizations.

  • Training and Professional Development C. Maintain written program procedures covering these six (6) core activities. All procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of this Contract.

  • EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION BY CONTRACTOR PROHIBITED During the performance of this Contract, the Contractor agrees as follows:

  • EMPLOYMENT OF UNAUTHORIZED ALIENS PROHIBITED In accordance with §2.2-4311.1 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, the Contractor must not during the performance of this Contract knowingly employ an unauthorized alien, as that term is defined in the federal Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.

  • What Will Happen After We Receive Your Letter When we receive your letter, we must do two things:

  • Abuse and Neglect of Children and Vulnerable Adults: Abuse Registry Party agrees not to employ any individual, to use any volunteer or other service provider, or to otherwise provide reimbursement to any individual who in the performance of services connected with this agreement provides care, custody, treatment, transportation, or supervision to children or to vulnerable adults if there has been a substantiation of abuse or neglect or exploitation involving that individual. Party is responsible for confirming as to each individual having such contact with children or vulnerable adults the non-existence of a substantiated allegation of abuse, neglect or exploitation by verifying that fact though (a) as to vulnerable adults, the Adult Abuse Registry maintained by the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living and (b) as to children, the Central Child Protection Registry (unless the Party holds a valid child care license or registration from the Division of Child Development, Department for Children and Families). See 33 V.S.A. §4919(a)(3) and 33 V.S.A. §6911(c)(3).
