Smoke Detector. Tenant acknowledges that Premises is equipped with a smoke detector(s) that is in good working order and repair. Tenant agrees to be solely responsible to check the smoke detector every thirty (30) days and notify Landlord immediately if the smoke detector is not functioning properly.
Smoke Detector. A device that detects the visible or invisible particles of combustion.
Smoke Detector. Lessor shall furnish the premises with a smoke detector. Lessee shall be solely responsible for maintaining the smoke detector, including providing and installing batteries and periodically testing to make sure the smoke detector is in working order. If lessee informs lessor that the smoke detector is not functioning (for reasons other than the need for new batteries), lessor will provide a new smoke detector or repair the existing smoke detector. Lessee agrees that lessor shall have no liability to lessee or lessee's family or visitors for any personal injury or property damage sustained due to the non-functioning of the smoke detector.
Smoke Detector. Tenant understands that the willful damage, tampering, theft, or destruction of any smoke detector, fire extinguishment system, or other life safety system endangers the safety of all Tenants and others in case of emergency. Tenant agrees that Landlord may charge for the replacement of batteries, and, damaged missing smoke detectors, and/or damaged fire extinguishment or life safety systems, and that such charges may be collected as additional rent. Such charges, as assessed, will be due and payable within thirty (30) days of invoicing by Agent. Tenant acknowledges that Landlord has installed at least one smoke detector in the Premises and that said detector(s) is in good condition and proper working order as of the beginning of the Lease Term. Tenant agrees not to obstruct or tamper with said detector(s) or otherwise permit the detector(s) to be obstructed or tampered with for any reason whatsoever. Tenant further agrees to test the detector(s) periodically and to report any malfunction therewith promptly to Landlord. Tenant assumes all liability to test the detector(s) and hereby waives and exonerates Landlord from any and all liability resulting from any defective detector(s) which Tenant shall not have specifically reported to Landlord. If Tenant is deaf or hearing impaired, Tenant shall notify Landlord in writing, and Landlord shall provide a smoke detector approved for the deaf and hearing impaired.
Smoke Detector a. The Premises is equipped with a smoke detection device(s).
b. It is agreed that TENANT will test the smoke detector within one (1) hour after execution of this Agreement and inform LANDLORD or LANDLORD'S BROKER immediately if detector(s) is not working properly at any time.
Smoke Detector. The rental unit is equipped with properly functioning smoke detectors. Resident agrees to test the smoke detectors in the rental unit monthly for proper function. Resident agrees not to interfere with their normal function or disable the smoke detectors in any manner.
Smoke Detector. Lessor shall provide working smoke detectors for the premises. Tenant shall be responsible for maintaining proper operations of all smoke detectors in said premises during the term of this lease. Tenants agree not to permit any hazardous act which might cause fire. If the premises becomes uninhabitable by reason of fire caused by the Tenants negligence or the Tenants agents or servants, the rental herein shall be suspended until premises has been restored to a habitable condition. Owners are not obligated to rebuild or restore the premises.

Licensee may be charged for the replacement of batteries, and damaged or missing smoke detectors, and such charge may be collected as additional fees. Such charges, as assessed, will be due and payable within thirty (30) days of invoicing. Licensee acknowledges that at least one smoke detector is installed in the Apartment and that said detector(s) is in good contention and proper working order as of the Start Date.
Smoke Detector. The rental unit is equipped with properly functioning smoke detectors. Resident agrees to test the smoke detectors in the rental unit monthly for proper function. Resident agrees not to interfere with their normal function or disable the smoke detectors in any manner. OWNER or the owner's agent may enter the Premises for the purpose of installing, repairing, testing, and maintaining single station smoke detectors required by this section. Except in cases of emergency, the owner or owner's agent shall give the tenants of each such unit, room, or suite reasonable notice in writing of the intention to enter and shall enter only during normal business hours. Twenty-four hours shall be presumed to be reasonable notice in absence of evidence to the contrary. RESIDENT tenant shall be responsible for notifying the manager or owner if the RESIDENT becomes aware of an inoperable smoke detector within his or her unit. The owner or authorized agent shall correct any reported deficiencies in the smoke detector and shall not be in violation of H&SC Section 13113.7 for a deficient smoke detector when he or she has not received notice of the deficiency.
