Solid Waste Handling and Disposal. Subject to policy direction by the Authority Board, the Operator shall manage, operate and administer the Facilities and execute the Solid Waste Recycling and Disposal responsibilities associated therewith. The Operator shall possess the power to contract and acquire property, both real and personal, to be held in the name of the Authority for the Authority’s benefit, to employ agents and employees and develop, maintain and operate sites and Facilities for the purposes set forth in this Agreement. The Authority and the County of Merced Public Works Department Solid Waste Division shall enter into a written agreement relating to the Operator functions described in this Article 9.

Solid Waste Handling and Disposal. Sea Launch shall provide and Astrotech shall use covered containers for collection of solid waste at the Site. Solid Waste Containers shall be located in areas approved by the Sea Launch Representative. Such containers shall have lids or otherwise be provided with covers, and the containers shall remain covered except when solid waste is being added or removed there from. Segregation, recycling and/or disposal of solid waste shall be as approved by the Sea Launch XXXX Representative. Astrotech shall not bury or burn solid waste materials at the Site. Astrotech shall place an emphasis on project planning to maximize reuse and recycling of solid waste to the greatest extent feasible with consideration for cost. Under no circumstances shall Hazardous Wastes be handled, stored, or disposed of using the procedures related to Solid Waste.

Related to Solid Waste Handling and Disposal

  • Waste Disposal Tenant shall store its waste either inside the Premises or within outside trash enclosures that are fully fenced and screened in compliance with all Private Restrictions, and designed for such purpose. All entrances to such outside trash enclosures shall be kept closed, and waste shall be stored in such manner as not to be visible from the exterior of such outside enclosures. Tenant shall cause all of its waste to be regularly removed from the Premises at Tenant’s sole cost. Tenant shall keep all fire corridors and mechanical equipment rooms in the Premises free and clear of all obstructions at all times.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Matters (a) The Company has complied and is in compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety Requirements.

  • Transportation Management Tenant shall fully comply with all present or future programs intended to manage parking, transportation or traffic in and around the Building, and in connection therewith, Tenant shall take responsible action for the transportation planning and management of all employees located at the Premises by working directly with Landlord, any governmental transportation management organization or any other transportation-related committees or entities.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety i. Environment, Health and Safety Performance. Seller acknowledges and accepts full and sole responsibility to maintain an environment, health and safety management system ("EMS") appropriate for its business throughout the performance of this Contract.   • Environmental, Health and Safety Laws There does not exist any violation by the Borrower or any Subsidiary of any applicable federal, state or local law, rule or regulation or order of any government, governmental department, board, agency or other instrumentality relating to environmental, pollution, health or safety matters which will or threatens to impose a material liability on the Borrower or a Subsidiary or which would require a material expenditure by the Borrower or such Subsidiary to cure. Neither the Borrower nor any Subsidiary has received any notice to the effect that any part of its operations or properties is not in material compliance with any such law, rule, regulation or order or notice that it or its property is the subject of any governmental investigation evaluating whether any remedial action is needed to respond to any release of any toxic or hazardous waste or substance into the environment, the consequences of which non-compliance or remedial action could constitute an Adverse Event.

  • Transportation Transportation expenses include, but are not limited to, airplane, train, bus, taxi fares, rental cars, parking, mileage reimbursement, and tolls that are reasonably and necessarily incurred as a result of conducting State business. Each State agency shall determine the necessity for travel, and the mode of travel to be reimbursed.

  • Recycling If this Agreement provides for the purchase or use of goods specified in PCC 12207 (for example, certain paper products, office supplies, mulch, glass products, lubricating oils, plastic products, paint, antifreeze, tires and tire-derived products, and metal products), this section is applicable with respect to those goods. Without limiting the foregoing, if this Agreement includes (i) document printing, (ii) parts cleaning, or (iii) janitorial and building maintenance services, this section is applicable. Contractor shall use recycled products in the performance of this Agreement to the maximum extent doing so is economically feasible. Upon request, Contractor shall certify in writing under penalty of perjury, the minimum, if not exact, percentage of post consumer material as defined in the PCC 12200, in such goods regardless of whether the goods meet the requirements of PCC 12209. With respect to printer or duplication cartridges that comply with the requirements of PCC 12156(e), the certification required by this subdivision shall specify that the cartridges so comply.
