The District Attorney may authorize a five (5) percent premium for Commanders and Assistant Chiefs functioning in specialty assignments which have significant responsibility for the management and coordination of countywide regional or federal programs. 2. The Sheriff-Coroner may authorize a five (5) percent premium, based on assignment and performance, for Lieutenants functioning in assignments with significant responsibility for the management and coordination of personnel and resources in support of specialized units, programs, initiatives, or law enforcement contracts.
