Special Education Inclusion. All referring and receiving teachers will be extended an opportunity to attend and participate in IEPC's. The BOARD will provide appropriate training for teachers receiving medically fragile students. When the school district receives a medically fragile student who requires extraordinary care, representatives of the BOARD and ASSOCIATION shall meet to establish an appropriate plan, in conjunction with any plans developed under state or federal law, for medical concerns.
Special Education Inclusion. 4.15.1. The Individual Education Plan (IEP) team for a student with a disability must include: the parents of the student, at least one regular education teacher of the student, at least one special education teacher, a representative of the Local Education Agency (LEA), a person who can interpret the instructional implications of the evaluation results (who may be another member of the team), and where appropriate, the student.
