SPECIAL LEAVE DAYS - WITH LOSS OF PAY. The teacher shall be granted special leave with loss of pay when requested on forms provided for that purpose five (5) days in advance of the anticipated absence with a maximum absence of five (5) days per year (non-cumulative). Additional days may be taken only with the approval of the administration and requests for such approval must be submitted to the administration and requests for such approval must be submitted to the administration seven (7) days in advance of the date of the requested absence. The decision of the administration and/or Board is final and not reviewable in any manner in regard to the granting of additional days over the five (5) allowed. Notwithstanding the above, not more than seven (7) teachers shall be on such leave at the same time without the consent of the Board.

SPECIAL LEAVE DAYS - WITH LOSS OF PAY. A bus driver may be granted special leave with loss of pay when requested on forms provided for that purpose five (5) days in advance of the anticipated absence with a maximum absence of five (5) days per year (non-cumulative) with the approval of the Director. The Director’s decision may be appealed to the Superintendent and/or his/her designee. The decision of the Superintendent/designee is final and not reviewable in any manner in regard to the granting of days. Notwithstanding the above, not more than three (3) bus drivers shall be on such leave at the same time without the consent of the Director.

  • Annual Leave Loading (a) In addition to their ordinary pay, an employee, other than a shiftworker, will be paid an annual leave loading of 17.5% of their ordinary pay on a maximum of 152 hours/four weeks annual leave per annum.
