PERSONAL LEAVE - DRIVERS. 7.1 Personal leave with pay shall accrue to each driver's Personal Leave Bank at the rate of one and one-half times the route time for each month of active employment excluding July and August with a maximum accumulation of 1680 hours provided, however, all employees hired after July 1, 1984 shall accrue personal leave hours at the rate of one (1) times the route time for each month of active employment excluding July and August with a maximum accumulation of 1680 hours. For purposes of sick leave accrual, route time will include Tec Runs. Personal leave time earned in one month will be added to each driver’s Personal Leave Bank on the first day of the following month. Personal leave days with pay will be paid on the basis of route time only. Route time is considered to be all regularly scheduled driving and layover time as set forth at the annual bid.

PERSONAL LEAVE - DRIVERS. 7.1 Personal leave with pay shall accrue to each driver's Personal Leave Bank at the rate of one and one-half times the "average daily hours worked" for each month of active employment excluding July and August with a maximum accumulation of 1680 hours provided, however, all employees hired after July 1, 1984 shall accrue personal leave hours at the rate of one (1) times the "average daily hours worked" for each month of active employment excluding July and August with a maximum accumulation of 1680 hours. Personal leave days with pay will be paid on the basis of average daily hours worked on any particular bus route as of the second bid day. Sick days are considered as time worked.

  • Personal Leave Day A. An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal leave day each fiscal year during the life of this Agreement if the employee has been continuously employed for more than four (4) months.

  • Personal Leaves 8.11.4.1 As approved by the Board, personal leaves without pay may be granted in cases of exceptional need for up to six (6) months. Any such leave exceeding one (1) semester shall not be counted toward tenure or promotion or for computing salary increments. These leaves may be extended by the PVPAA upon recommendation of the xxxx for up to one (1) year.

  • Personal Leave Written request for a personal leave of absence without pay will be considered on an individual basis by the Hospital. Such requests are to be submitted to the employee's immediate supervisor at least four (4) weeks in advance, unless not reasonably possible to give such notice, and a written reply will be given within fourteen (14) days except in cases of emergency in which case a reply will be given as soon as possible. Employees needing personal leave days for appointments with medical practitioners may utilize the personal leave language. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Personal Leave Days Section 1. All employees after completion of six (6) months of service shall be entitled to receive personal leave days in the following manner:

  • Sick/Personal Leave Leave granted to the teacher for sick, personal or bereavement reasons.

  • Personal Leave With Pay With prior notification, full-time employees who are eligible to accrue sick leave may use a maximum of six (6) days personal leave with pay per year, provided that such days shall be charged against the employee’s current accrued sick leave. This leave is non-cumulative.

  • Personal Leave of Absence The Administrator may grant a request for leave of absence for personal reasons without pay provided that he receives at least one (1) month's clear notice, in writing, unless impossible, and provided that such leave may be arranged without undue inconvenience to the normal operations of the Nursing Home. Employees when applying for such leave shall indicate the proposed date of departure and return. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Extended Personal Leave Personal leave without pay not to exceed thirty (30) 26 days may be granted at the discretion of the Superintendent. Personal leave in 27 excess of thirty (30) days shall be subject to approval by the Board.

  • Personal Leave Accrual All employees shall accrue personal leave at the rate of one and twenty-three hundredths (1.23) hours for each eighty (80) hours in active pay status, excluding overtime hours, not to exceed a total of thirty-two (32) hours accrued in one year.
