Common use of Special Training Clause in Contracts

Special Training. The State will join with the Union to provide a special training program which will be available to employees in the Operations, Maintenance and Services and Crafts, and Inspection and Security Units. The program will be financed equally by the State and the Union, each paying up to a maximum of $5,000 in each year of the Contract. The formulation and content of the special training program shall be decided by mutual agreement between the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations and the Union. All funds for this program shall be disbursed proportionately directly to the outside agency that provides services under this program.
