Special Transportation. 1. Special transportation assignments will be given to the most senior available Bus Driver(s) based on all of the following criteria: a. Availability of a consistent regular Bus Driver. The special assignment may be split (departing/returning trips) between two consistent available regular Bus Drivers or between a regular Bus Driver and an out-of-District Bus Driver, unless the student’s individual education plan requires the same Bus Driver for both the departing and returning trips. (“Available” means the Bus Driver is available to drive his/her entire regular schedule and drive the scheduled pick up/drop off time for the special transportation.); and
