Special Work Rules. A. QUARTERS. Employers are to furnish reasonable and comfortable quarters to their employees and a safe place for storage of their tools; such quarters to be used by carpenters and their tools only. If, through negligence, the Employer fails to provide a safe place for storage of tools, he/she shall be held liable for thefts and fire.

Special Work Rules. Section 14.1. There shall be no time lost, by anyone covered under this Agreement, for building and/or for loading scaffolding during working hours. Xxxxxxxx shall be inspected by the xxxxx xxxxxxx or competent person prior to the bricklayers' use. In the event of protest with reference to the safety of any scaffold, it shall be reported by the xxxxxxx to the Field Staff Representative.

  • WORK RULES A. No employee shall be under the influence of any drug or alcohol while the employee is working or while the employee is on the Employer's premises or operating the Employer's vehicle, machinery, or equipment, except pursuant to a legitimate medical reason or when approved by the Employer as a proper law enforcement activity.

  • Applicable Rules and Regulations The Account and each transaction therein shall be subject to the terms of this Agreement and to (a) all applicable laws and the regulations, rules and orders (collectively "regulations") of all regulatory and self-regulatory organizations having jurisdiction and (b) the constitution, by-laws, rules, regulations, orders, resolutions, interpretations and customs and usages (collectively "rules") of the market and any associated clearing organization (each an "exchange") on or subject to the rules of which such transaction is executed and/or cleared. The reference in the preceding sentence to exchange rules is solely for DWR's protection and DWR's failure to comply therewith shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or relieve Customer of any obligation or responsibility under this Agreement. DWR shall not be liable to Customer as a result of any action by DWR, its officers, directors, employees or agents to comply with any rule or regulation.

  • Additional Rules and Regulations A. Sitting on the front stoop, or in the parking lot, playing of music, TV’s, or loud noise of any kind inside or outside of unit loud enough to disturb other tenants shall not be permitted at any time.

  • Applicable Rules Where a matter relating to investment is governed by this Agreement and simultaneously by the national legislation of either Contracting Party or international obligations existing at present or future by the contracting parties, investors of the other contracting party may avail itself of the provisions that are most favourable.

  • PROTECTION OF WORK AND PROPERTY Contractor shall erect and properly maintain at all times, as required by conditions and progress of the Work, all necessary safeguards, signs, barriers, lights, and security persons for protection of workers and the public, and shall post danger signs warning against hazards created by the Work. In an emergency affecting life and safety of life or of Work or of adjoining property, Contractor, without special instruction or authorization from District, is permitted to act at his discretion to prevent such threatened loss or injury.
