SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST. It is the responsibility of the speech therapist to manage his or her total caseload to a maximum of sixty-five (65) students. Assistance in managing such caseloads will be provided by the Director of Special Education and Auxiliary Support Services, the speech therapist department chairperson and the site principal.

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST. The Flying Start Speech and Language Therapist is to work as part of the Flying Start team to ensure prevention and early intervention for children at risk of/with identified speech, language and communication needs.  Support staff in the assessment of children at 18 months using the WellComm tool and implementation of a preventative programme to minimise the communication risks identified.  The Flying Start speech and language therapist will provide evidence based accredited training to appropriate staff across the Flying Start Programme.  Will review Talking Tots and Chatterbox data and offer ongoing supervision/guidance to staff providing these targeted interventions in consultation with the Deputy 0-4 Provision Manager and Early Language Development Team Leader.  Will provide expert speech and language support to Flying Start playgroups via communication champions and /or childcare leads and contribute to multi-professional panel meetings inputting into individualised multi-agency plans.  Provide support in the early identification of children with communication delay including advice to parents with concerns around communication development of their child. This will include children who are at risk from language delays, who have language disorders, and who are learning English as a second language.  Will work in partnership with all Flying Start Staff to identify and prioritise children who require speech and language therapist support to develop an individualised plan.  Provide 1:1 support with children with significant language delay who are not accessing specialist services, and develop new approaches to supporting Flying Start families/children that do not attend Core ABUHB speech and language services.  To support transition processes of children with identified speech delay by taking forward/ attendance at the Additional Learning Needs Panel.

  • Background Screening VENDOR shall comply with all requirements of Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes, and all of its personnel who (1) are to be permitted access to school grounds when students are present, (2) will have direct contact with students, or (3) have access or control of school funds, will successfully complete the background screening required by the referenced statutes and meet the standards established by the statutes. This background screening will be conducted by SBBC in advance of VENDOR or its personnel providing any services under the conditions described in the previous sentence. VENDOR shall bear the cost of acquiring the background screening required by Section 1012.32, Florida Statutes, and any fee imposed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to maintain the fingerprints provided with respect to VENDOR and its personnel. The parties agree that the failure of VENDOR to perform any of the duties described in this section shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement entitling SBBC to terminate immediately with no further responsibilities or duties to perform under this Agreement. VENDOR agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SBBC, its officers and employees from any liability in the form of physical or mental injury, death or property damage resulting from VENDOR’s failure to comply with the requirements of this section or with Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes.

  • Research and Development (i) Advice and assistance in relation to research and development of Party B;

  • French Language Services If the HSP is required to provide services to the public in French under the provisions of the FLSA, the HSP will be required to submit a French language services report to the Funder. If the HSP is not required to provide services to the public in French under the provisions of the FLSA, it will be required to provide a report to the Funder that outlines how the HSP addresses the needs of its local Francophone community.
