Common use of Stability of the Bargaining Unit Clause in Contracts

Stability of the Bargaining Unit. The Employer agrees not to take any action to erode the bargaining unit by breaking down vacant permanent full-time positions into temporary positions not covered by the Agreement. This provision will not be construed to prevent or restrict the Employer’s right to continue its practice of utilizing temporary help to provide supplemental services.
