Stand-By Duty Officer. (a) Duty Officer Pay Employees agreeing, when requested by the Fire Chief or designate, to take on the responsibility of Duty Officer shall be paid an additional $95.00 per shift.

Stand-By Duty Officer. Employees agreeing to participate in the Duty Officer rotation, to take on the responsibilities of the Duty Officer shall be paid an additional amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of a Captains day rate as per Appendix A, for each hour of such scheduled stand-by. The Duty Officer shift shall be from 18:00 hours to 06:00 hours. The Duty Officer shall be provided with a Department vehicle after regular operational hours. They will answer dispatch and respond to all Fire/Rescue Service related business, responding in a command capacity and be responsible for all resulting reports unless otherwise assumed by a senior ranking career officer. Duty Officers shall complete a vehicle and equipment check on their assigned vehicle at the conclusion of the 4-day shift rotation

  • Stand-by Duty A. An employee who is required by the Department head to be available on a stand-by basis leave to report to duty when necessary shall be reimbursed at a rate not to exceed seventeen dollars and fifty cents ($17.50) for such stand-by period.

  • Jury Duty/Subpoena A. An employee shall be allowed such time off without loss of compensation as is required in connection with mandatory jury duty. If payment is made for such time off, the employee is required to remit to the State jury fees received. When night jury service is required of an employee, the employee shall be allowed time off without loss of compensation for such portion of the required time that coincides with the employee's normal work schedule. This includes any necessary travel time.

  • Duty Hours 11.01 The regular work week for all employees shall be eighty (80) hours bi-weekly on shifts of eight (8) hours per day. Employees shall not be scheduled to work double shifts as a part of the normal scheduling procedure. The Employer may implement a forty (40) hour workweek on shifts of ten (10) hours per day, according to Departmental needs.

  • Civic Duty Leave A. Employees summoned for jury duty will be granted a leave of absence with pay for time lost from their regular work schedule while on said jury duty upon presentation of the appropriate summons to the department head by the employee.

  • DUTY TRAVEL 40.01 An employee who is authorized to travel on Employer business will be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred.

  • Off-Duty Conduct 25.1 The off-duty activities of an employee may not be grounds for disciplinary action unless said activities are a conflict of interest as set forth in RCW 42.52 or a nexus exists between the employee’s activities and employment. Employees shall report all arrests and any court-imposed sanctions or conditions that affect their ability to perform assigned duties to their Appointing Authority within twenty-four (24) hours or prior to their scheduled work shift, whichever occurs first.

  • Employee Employee’s rights and obligations under this Agreement shall not be transferable by Employee by assignment or otherwise, without the prior written consent of the Company; provided, however, that if Employee shall die, all amounts then payable to Employee hereunder shall be paid in accordance with the terms of this Agreement to Employee’s devisee, legatee, or other designee, or if there be no such designee, to Employee’s estate.

  • Duty Days The duty days for employees of the Board shall be as indicated in Appendix A, Schedule of Classifications. The Board will require 190 duty days for ten-month employees, 212 duty days for 11-month employees, 249 duty days for 12-month employees. In the event that the Board of Education or the Superintendent closes the school system to all employees during the Winter Break, bargaining unit members who would otherwise be required to work shall will be placed on paid Administrative Leave and those days will be counted as duty days.
