Stand-by Pay for General Employees. An employee may be required to be on “stand-by” subject to emergency call-back after working hours and on weekends and holidays whereby personal time is limited. Employees designated to be on stand-by pay shall have a communication device (i.e. cell phone, pager, etc.) issued by the authorized Department for the designated stand-by period.
