Standby. (a) Employees who stand by for a call to work between the end of a normal day shift on the first day of work in a normal work week as defined in Clause 11.1 (excluding public holidays) and the commencement of a normal day shift on the last day of work in the normal work week shall be paid one (1) hour's pay at the employee's regular rate of pay for each period of eight (8) hours that the employee stands by, in addition to any callout pay to which there may be entitlement under Clause 8.2.
