State and Federal Family and Medical Leave. Nurses who have been employed by Stanford Hospital and Clinics for at least twelve (12) months and have worked for the Employer at least twelve hundred fifty (1250) hours during the previous twelve (12) months are eligible for Family/Medical Leave in accordance with State and Federal laws:  birth of the employee’s child;  the placement of a child with the employee as a result of adoption or xxxxxx care;  the care of a spouse, domestic partner, child or parent with a serious health condition;  a serious health condition that makes the employee unable to perform her/his job.

This agreement does not reduce a Nurse’s, right to Family Medical Leave under applicable State and Federal law: • birth of the employee’s child; • the placement of a child with the employee as a result of adoption or xxxxxx care; • the care of a spouse, domestic partner, child or parent with a serious health condition; • a serious health condition that makes the employee unable to perform her/his job.

  • Family and Medical Leave 16.1 A. Consistent with the federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA) and any amendments thereto and the Washington State Family Leave Act of 2006 (WFLA), an employee who has worked for the state for at least twelve (12) months and for at least one thousand two hundred fifty (1,250) hours during the twelve (12) months prior to the requested leave is entitled to up to twelve (12) workweeks of family medical leave in a twelve (12) month period for one or more of the following reasons 1 - 4:
