Status of Work. Dow is still working on the creation of the IUCLID 5 file. It is our current plan to submit the Lead Dossier in July 2010 or earlier if possible. This will allow all co-registrants sufficient time to prepare and submit their dossiers before the submission deadline November 30th, 2010. We will create a full dossier including monomer use. We intend to include a Chemical Safety Report (CSR) for the identified uses. The submission will of course also cover Epichlorohydrin as 'transported isolated intermediate'. Our dossier and CSR will only cover uses that take place under Strictly Controlled Conditions (SCC) to avoid the need for Authorization of any use. All uses for which SCC cannot be confirmed will NOT BE SUPPORTED! It is the duty of the manufacturers/importers/users to confirm SCC. Any registrant that cannot confirm SCC throughout his supply chain will need to request from ECHA an individual authorization of uses.
