Step 1 - Informal Level. Any worker who believes that he/she has a grievance shall discuss the grievance with such management official in the worker's department as the Department Head may designate. If the issue is not resolved within the department, the procedures hereinafter specified may be invoked.

Step 1 - Informal Level. 4.3.1.1 Within ten (10) business days of the first time a grievance is alleged to arise, the grievant will present the grievance to his/her immediate supervisor during non-instructional hours.

  • Informal Level Before filing a formal written grievance, the grievant shall attempt to resolve it by an informal conference with the grievant's immediate supervisor.

  • Formal Levels Level 1: If a grievant is not satisfied with the resolution proposed at the informal level, the grievant may, within ten (10) working days of such receipt of such answer, file a formal written grievance with his/her supervisor containing a statement describing the grievance, the section of this Agreement allegedly violated, and remedy requested. The supervisor shall, within ten (10) working days, have a meeting with the grievant regarding the information provided.

  • Staffing Levels To the extent legislative appropriations and PIN authorizations allow, safe staffing levels will be maintained in all institutions where employees have patient, client, inmate or student care responsibilities.
