Step 1 – Informal Stage a) The teacher having a concern arising out of this agreement shall first discuss the concern with his/her Principal or immediate Supervisor. The teacher may submit a written summary of the concern to the Principal.

Step 1 – Informal Stage a) The Occasional Teacher having a concern arising out of this agreement should first discuss the concern with his/her immediate supervisor. The teacher may submit a written summary of the concern to the immediate supervisor. The Occasional Teacher may be accompanied by a representative of the Association. In the event of a grievance initiated by the Association, communication shall be with the Director of Education.
Step 1 – Informal Stage a) A teacher having a concern arising out of this agreement should first discuss their concern with their Principal or immediate Supervisor. The teacher shall have the right to Association representation for such meeting.
Step 1 – Informal Stage. If a problem arises the Occasional Teacher may bring the problem to the attention of the Supervisor within fifteen (15) days after the Occasional Teacher becomes aware, or would reasonably be expected to have become aware of the circumstances, in an attempt to resolve the problem. Within these fifteen (15) days, the Occasional Teacher may also refer the problem to the Local who will attempt to resolve the problem informally on behalf of the Occasional Teacher.

  • Informal Stage An employee, with the concurrence of the Bargaining Unit, may initiate a complaint with the immediate supervisor within twenty-five (25) days from the day the cause of the grievance became known, or reasonably ought to have been known. The immediate supervisor shall answer the complaint in writing within five (5) days after the receipt of the complaint.

  • Formal Stage Step One At the conclusion of the informal process, or if no resolution has been reached, a formal grievance, with a copy to the Principal/Supervisor, shall be submitted to the Superintendent of Human Resources within ten (10) working days. A formal grievance must:

  • Annual Conference Vote This Disaffiliation Agreement must be “ratified by a simple majority of the members . . . present and voting” at a duly-called session of The Western North Carolina Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, as required by Judicial Council Decision 1379 and ¶ 2529.1b(3)

  • Informal Discussions The employee's concerns will be presented orally by the employee to the appropriate supervisor. Every effort shall be made by all concerned in an informal manner to develop an understanding of the facts and the issues in order to create a climate which will lead to resolution of the problem. If the employee is not satisfied with the informal discussion(s) relative to the matter in question, he/she may proceed to the formal grievance procedure.

  • Informal Discussion If an employee has a problem relating to a work situation, the employee is encouraged to request a meeting with his or her immediate supervisor to discuss the problem in an effort to clarify the issue and to work cooperatively towards settlement.
