Step Four- School Board Level. If a grievance remains unsettled after having been processed through Step 3, the employee or the Federation may, within five (5) school days from the date of receipt of the decision rendered at the previous step, submit the grievance to the School Board. In which case, the grievance is to be submitted in writing and shall specify the nature of the complaint and the remedy requested. Copies of the previous decisions are to be included with the grievance. Within five (5) school days from the date the grievance is filed at Step 4, the School Board will establish a mutually convenient date and time for a meeting to discuss the matter. Both parties reserve the right to include consultants in any such meeting. The Board shall render its decision in writing together with supporting reasons to employee, Federation, Principal and Superintendent's Office within fifteen (15) days of the meeting held to discuss the matter.

The Board shall render its decision in writing together with supporting reasons to employee, Federation, Principal and Superintendent’s Office within fifteen (15) days from the date of the meeting in which the grievance is discussed.

  • Staffing Levels To the extent legislative appropriations and PIN authorizations allow, safe staffing levels will be maintained in all institutions where employees have patient, client, inmate or student care responsibilities. In July of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of each agency will, upon request, meet with the Union, to hear the employees’ views regarding staffing levels. Dental Group shall assist Manager in the production of periodic reports describing the results of such procedures. Dental Group shall provide Manager with prompt notice of any information that raises a reasonable risk to the health and safety of Group Patients or Beneficiaries. In any event, after consultation with the Joint Operations Committee, Dental Group shall take such action as may be reasonably warranted under the facts and circumstances.

  • Joint Consultation Committee 8.01 On the request of either party, the parties must meet at least once every four (4) months, for the purpose of discussing issues relating to the workplace that affect the parties or any employee bound by the Agreement. 8.02 The purpose of the consultation committee is to promote the cooperative resolution of workplace issues, to xxxxxx the development of work related skills and to promote workplace productivity, and to identify opportunities for improved patient care. 8.03 Up to two (2) employees who are members of the joint consultation committee shall be granted leave without loss of pay or receive straight-time regular wages while attending meetings of the committee, up to a maximum of two (2) hours’ pay. 8.04 Pay for such meetings will be limited to two (2) hours and employees attending such meetings will not receive overtime wages.
