Common use of Storm Leave Clause in Contracts

Storm Leave. If the office is closed by the Vice President, HCCSS HNHB or their designate due to weather conditions preventing the employee from reporting to the HCCSS Branch Office or causing the employee to leave the office early then the employee shall not suffer a loss of regular pay for the time lost on that day. In such circumstances the expectation is that the employee works remotely for the duration of their shift.
