Grid Progression. (a) Each full-time Employee automatically progresses on the grid on her/his anniversary date. With the exception of Pregnancy and Parental Leave under the Employment Standards Act, the anniversary date shall be adjusted in the event the Employee is absent from work in excess of one
(1) month.
(b) Part-time and casual Employees shall advance on the salary grid in Schedule “A” on the basis of one (1) year is equivalent to fifteen hundred (1500) paid hours.
(c) A full time Employee who transfers to part time or casual or vice versa within the same classification will assume her same level on the salary grid as at the time of transfer.

(c) The Employer, at the time of hiring a new Employee, may place a new Employee at the salary within the grid it deems appropriate.
(d) Claim for related experience, if any, shall be made in writing by the Employee at the time of hiring. Once established consistent with this provision, credit for related experience will be retroactive to the Employee’s date of hire. The Employee shall co-operate with the Employer by providing verification of previous experience so that her or his related experience may be determined. Having established the related experience, the Employer will credit a new Employee with one (1) annual service increment for each year of experience.
Grid Progression. 45.1 Full-time employees will progress annually on the salary grid on their anniversary date unless on an unpaid leave of absence exceeding 30 days.
45.2 Temporary employees will accumulate service for purposes of progression on the salary grid, on the basis of one (1) year of service for each 1885 hours worked. Notwithstanding this provision, the calculation of service for purposes of progression on the salary grid will include service accrued during a pregnancy or parental leave on the basis of seniority accrual during such leaves.

(ii) Part-time and casual Employees shall advance on the salary grid in Schedule “A” on the basis of one (1) year is equivalent to 1820 hours worked.
(iii) A full time employee who transfers to part time or casual or vice versa within the same classification will assume her same level on the salary grid as at the time of transfer.
(iv) Grid progression in accordance with this paragraph shall only be effective from April 1, 2009 onwards.
Grid Progression. The Employer (Legal Aid Ontario) and the Union (OPSEU Local 525 Essex Lambton Kent District) agree, notwithstanding 33.01 (whereas employees move to the next step on the salary grid on ratification date), that bargaining unit employees will not automatically progress to the next step on the salary grid for performance year 2017-18, as step increases for this period were processed by the Employer retroactively to April 1, 2018 (paid on May 11, 2018). The next consideration for step increases will occur April 1, 2019.
Grid Progression. 1. Upon completion of the annual performance evaluation, the Supervisor will implement progression to the next step in the salary grid. Such evaluation will be completed within thirty (30) calendar days of the applicable “anniversary” date or, in the case of part-time employees, the period of work.
2. Full-time employees will be evaluated annually on their anniversary date, such date commencing on the first day of full-time employment within this bargaining unit. Part-time employees will be evaluated upon completion of 1725 hours of work within this bargaining unit and each similar period thereafter.
3. The Corporation has the right to establish performance standards in a manner that is not discriminatory or in bad faith.
4. Should an increment be withheld, such may become the subject of a grievance.
